  • hello, this emission is interesting, I re-examine from time to time to understand because I come from France and myself rises well-sure lsf, not asl. but I understand certain vocabularies asthink that in the whole world, it is similar. thus the respect east adapts where he lives with their culture environment like the accent. thank you for this emission which made me reflect, also open in order to better allow to respectl. here in France it is the same thing the accent north south west east.

  • Cool, we never heard about NetSign News...It is nice and useful for deaf community. However, one problem is the tv broadcast for the deaf usually focuses on limited themes. Why do not introduce to upcoming events for the deaf in 2010 that deaf community should know. Example: We are going to Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf, May 27-30,2010

in Houston, TX. The Biz event for the Deaf has a rich program to educate deaf community to start up business or upgrade mastery.

  • That is really a fascinating topic. There is often more than one "right" way to sign something...just as there is often more than one correct way to say something in a spoken language. You gave the example of a "hallway". Well, we could also call that a corridor, or even a passage way, and still be correct. That simply demonstrates that a language is alive, dynamic, and growing. It's not a matter of one way is right or the other is wrong--it just shows the richeness of the language in general.
