~ CHANGES ~ sung by Ian and Sylvia
"More than thirty years after Phil Och`s death (December 19, 1940 - April 9, 1976), Och`s songs remain relevant. Ochs continues to influence singers worldwide, many of whom never saw him perform live. There are mailing lists and online discussion groups dedicated to Ochs and his music, websites that have music samples, and other links and articles and books continue to be written and published about him." Phil Ochs who was diagnosed with bipolar depression, fell into a deep low and committed suicide in 1976. His father was also diagnosed with depression and remained distant from his family until his death.
"Phil Ochs`s sister Sonny Ochs runs a series of "Phil Ochs Song Nights" with a rotating group of performers who keep Ochs music and legacy alive by singing his songs across the U.S."
I had had this song in my mind for years but could never find the right singer that I remebered from the 60s. I think this must be It. GS.

After hearing this song I stopped being a rocker and became a folk player

Thanks terribly for putting this one on; it's the best piece of poetry I've encountered.
It stands as a top two favourite in my life.
