Grandpa's Walking Cane- Barry Scott on keyboard, Bluegrass On Broad, 13 August 2010

While Mountain Faith Bluegrass is taking a break from the heat, Barry Scott performs several solos on the keyboard. This one is called "Grandpas Walking Cane" . The first couple of minutes here Barry explains how he came to write this song and how these memories are important to him.

The Sylva, North Carolina based bluegrass and gospel band "Mountain Faith" joined with Barry Scott for the Bluegrass On Broad evening concert as they have for several bookings this summer.

This was a live band performance recorded at Bluegrass On Broad in Kingsport, Tennessee on 13 August 2010. This is a free evening outdoor concert series that has been held on Broad Street in front of the historic CC&O train station for at least 10 years on Fridays throughout the late spring to early autumn season.
