I had promised to post this but previously the file size was too large for youtube. This is the hit song of Hal Ketchum sung by the man who wrote it. Mick Hanly is seen here in concert in Paisley back in 2007 while promoting his excellent album Wish Me Well. His website is www.mickhanly.com and he has written hits for Mary Black amongst others.

  • I heard this song late one night 20 years ago in a pub in Slago Ireland. We'd almost been kidnapped, and the cops had left us in this town for the night. Since that night I have thought of the song, but could never discover it's name or writer. Thanks to the Internet I can listen to it again.
