  • sweet video. im getting a 4wd for my first car and am very interested in getting one of these, although people tell me that this model of jeep are lemons, and that they are just bad news and that i should stay away fom them. now is there some sort of problem with these 4wds? or are people just jealous that they got bogged and had to watch a jeep drive past them, lol? any help from owners would be good as im very intersted in getting one.

    thanks

  • Well i have a 91xj with 166k and it runs perfect. the only things that have broke are at my own doing. If you offroad you have to expect to pay for things. I run the piss out of mine and it still runs like a champ!!! and That is my buddys jeep and we both love our jeeps!

  • @floorit001 my first 4x4 is my 93 xj all i have done is put a set of mud tires and ther aint much that will stop me. the in-line 6 makes a LOT of power

  • shit i got a 92 laredo with 258,xxx miles and it still runs strong

and i rarely get it stuck great truck

  • How much was that rack? I'm 15 and when i turn 16 in 3 months i get my permit but im thinking about selling my dirt bike Kx250f and buying a jeep to mess around with in the woods behind my house and then once i get my permit and stuff just drive it to work and stuff ?

  • @willbill808 Well, they're both I6s, so they do sound similar. I have a 2001 XJ with a flowmaster 44, and at certain revs, it sounds just like my old 12valve cummins. They idle similar too, but obviously the jeep is smoother, considering the truck was putting out over 400hp and 900lb. MIss that truck, but I love my jeep.

  • @xianshelang you kidding? those motors are unstoppable! just replace the belt if it does that! i have one with the 4.0 inline, beat the heck out of it and it still runs better than any other motor

  • @floorit001 dont get a 4.0 inline 6 the belt will eventually start to squeal like nothing youve ever heard

  • accually maybe a lil but when its comin back

  • that sounds a hell of a lot like a cummins actually.

  • lol thats jsut water

  • Hey try muddin in 2 wheel. Its hella fun!
