Don Siegelman Speaks! Part 2

Here is some amazing video: a very candid interview with Don Siegelman, who spoke to Julie Sigwart of Take Back the Media on Sept. 13, 2004--months before the Governor was finally put away on trumped-up charges by the Alabama GOP.

As he himself makes clear, Siegelman's ordeal began back in 2000, when he came out early on, and publicly, against the presidential bid of his fellow governor, George W. Bush, and backed Al Gore instead. It was a move that Karl Rove never did forget, and never would forgive, says Siegelman.

I had the chance to talk to him breifly in 1999 before he started his second campaign for Governor. He is a wonderful man who would never do anything illegal. Someone should go to jail and its not Don.

I feel bad for his family. He has a wife and 2 kids who now have to stand by and watch this whole thing unfold without being able to do anything.

My wishes go out to you Siegelman family. I hope that you are soon reunited.

Karl Rove is a criminal. Look up the "Project for a new American Century" and see that 9/11 was in the works as a "new pearl harbor". Give up already- go read a book or find some other source of useful education. The "All you Democrats are criminals anyway" bullshit doesn't fly anymore. Good luck

Through the machinations of Rove, "The Mastermind", we now have the American version of a politcal prisoner. Without the overwhelming numbers of the youth vote that Obama now inspires, Rove's voter supression plans for this November will surely deliver the presidency to the repuglicans. If our constitutional form of government is to survive, that party must be destroyed.

Probably there is something that could be done with verifying or sending an email receipt. We got the technology. Votes could be cast and then at the same time receipts sent to several verifying posts including the with a verification code sent to the person's personal email. This way everyone could be involved in verification of their personal vote if they chose, and could not be buggered by Repulican cheatin' cheaters.
