  • Totally Awesome !!!!! He was the BEST

    EVER !!!!

  • Hell yeah! You've got that right!!!!!

  • Did you say you have the audio from that show??

  • Why yes I do have the complete show. It's also all on my page too

  • I am so grateful for seeing one of his last ever shows. He played at the Kalamazoo Fairgrounds in 1990, days before his death at Alpine Valley.....there's still no one else i felt this much sadness over, It hit me hard. Wish you were still here SRV.

  • I actually have that show on audio. 8/24/1990, 2 days before that tragic day. Lucky lucky you! I wasn't born for another 11 months so I never got the chance to see his greatness in person myself. And yeah I so dearly wish he were still here with us!

  • @rliwizer Yeah man imagine those jam sessions

  • @Joycee2946 you mean he's still THE best!!!

  • This was one of if not THE best shows i was ever able to attend....and I'll tell you this, Joe Cocker had not much on SRV that night....He performed "Riviera Paradise" as the sun was setting.....game me chills on that July night. Sat on the side of the stage, with my dear friend Jan Harper.....miss her too!!!

  • @csi2448 This was taped at Beulah Park.....was at this show

  • Gary Moore with them now too!

  • @rliwizer i think you mean Jimi

  • Towards the end of the song, near the end of the last LONG solo, you can barely hear a guy in the audience say "oh my god...... holy shit!". I would probably be saying the same thing. The guy sounded like he couldn't believe what he was seeing and hearing. SRV did that to every audience.

    He is sorely missed.

  • @csi2448 I want the audio from this concert SRV is the best!
