@lexcat06 learn to putt and chip first. the best players in the world can get up and down from anywhere, not hit every fairway.

@Dubo20 I'd agree with that 100%. I have just started playing with it-and feel I don't know how to use it very effectively-so there is little point. I think you need to be taught how to use it properly, have precise lessons on it or at least some direction. Otherswise there is little point. Price wise £650 new is A LOT-but if it kocked 7-10 shots off, well it would be steal. People happily spend £300 on a new R9 and have no clue how to hit it!

@cockywatchman1976 i am judging it on just from what ive witnessed when i was working in the old head of kinsale, it was up on the range all summer and the odd golfer would just step inside it and swing the bat 2 or 3 times and just go back to hitting balls. people just used it outa curiosity. im sure if you put in the hours on it you might notice a difference but it was a waste of money as something for the public to use (my own view anyhow)

@Dubo20 Im gonna get a lesson on how to use it correctly first. Then I will make an assesment-but Im fairly skeptical

@Dubo20 I just bought one second hand on ebay-Im gonna judge if it improves me. If not I will sell it on ebay quickly and probably not lose any cash!
I suspect it won't be anywhere near as good as the marketers make out-but will help a little. I think the weighed club is the key aspect-and you can get that by just buying a weighted club!

These golf academies are a waste of money and prey on people who will never be any good. Take $1 down to you local second-hand book store and buy Jack Nicklaus' 'Golf My Way'. Read it then take it down to the range and work through it. I did this back in the mid-eighties and have been playing off a low single figure handicap ever since. That'll be $500 Thanks!
