One of the must-eats in Penang I heard, was chendul. I'm not sure why they spell it that way instead of the usual 'chendol'. Anyhow, it was a refreshing dessert to have. I can imagine eating it at any time of the day. Gula melaka is used, giving it that fragrant aroma and a earthy sweetness. The green 'worm-like' jellies are a delight to bite into. They serve it with coconut milk and red beans. An overall winner at a cheap price of RM 1.70. Best of all - you have to eat it standing up. You'll see why, after watching the video.
