(They run to her house and make it there 2 minutes before 11.)

Sam- So what do you wanna do for to minutes?

Nat- (Breathing hard) catch my breath.

Sam- Your such a baby that wasnt even a mile.

Nat- Yeah, yeah I know.

Sam- Well we could do what we were doing in the park.

Nat- Your dads watching us through the window.

Sam- Uhhhh I cant believe him!

Nat- Its ok, theres always next week right?

Sam- Maybe....

Nat- Oh well you dont have to.

Sam- (Smiles) I know, I want to.

Nat- (Smiles) k good because I would have been really sad if you said that you didnt want to.

Sam- Ok well, I guess I should go since my stupid dad.

Nat- (Laughs) Thanks for coming with me tonight.

Sam- Thanks for having me come, it was...fun. (Smiles)

Nat- Ok well, ill call you later?

Sam- Yeah (Kisses him on the cheek.) Night

Nat- Goodnight

(Her dad opens the door and Sam walks in. Her dad closes the door and steps outside.)

Mark- Nat?

Nat- (Turns to face him, hes a bit scared.) Yes?

Mark- Well I dont say this very often but....thank you.

Nat- Oh your welcome. For what though?

Mark- I havent seen my daughter that happy since her mom died.

Nat- Oh I didnt know I thought?

Mark- She probly told you about her step mother, I remarried a couple years ago.

Nat- Oh Im sorry I didnt know.

Mark- She doesnt like people to know. Actually youre the first person shes hung around with other then while she was at school and soccer practice.

Nat- Oh, I dont know what to say.

Mark- I understand, listen the only reason im telling you about this is because I want you to know how many times shes been hurt, and if you hurt her....

Nat- Oh, trust me sir I have no intention of hurting Sam.

Mark- Ok, well then have a good night and thank you again.

Nat- Your welcome and have a good night also.

(Mark turns and walks toward the house Nat turns and leaves also.)

(Its eleven 15 and Nat just got home.)

Sunny- Did you have a good night?

Nat- Whoa dad you scared me I didnt see you there.

Sunny- Its late Nat....

Nat- Oh im sorry dad I thought it would be ok.

Sunny- Well I wouldnt have had a problem with it if you would have told me you were going to be home this late.

Nat- Im really sorry dad Sams dad said it would be fine if we were home by eleven, I was planning on being home at ten.

Sunny- Ok well next time you find something out like that let me know ok?

Nat- Yeah sure dad no problem. Im sorry again.

Sunny- Its ok. Get some sleep you look tired. Ill talk to you in the morning.

Nat- Ok dad thanks goodnight.

(Next morning (9:15))

Nat- Hello?

Sam- Nat please come help me please!

Nat- Sam, is that you? Where are you?

Sam- Im at my house Nat please hurry!

Nat- Im on my way!

(Nat runs down the stairs quickly writes his dad a note telling him what happened and runs out the door with only a t-shirt and boxers on. He arrives two minutes later. Sams front door is wide open.)

Nat- SAM?!?!

(A woman walks down the stairs.)

Woman-Youre not aloud to speak to her anymore.

Nat- What? Why? Who are you?

Woman- My name is Rose and you arent aloud to speak to her.

Nat- But why?

Rose- She is having problems right now and she doesnt need your influence.

Nat- Oh....well can I tell her im sorry?

Rose- What part of you arent aloud to speak to her dont you get?

Nat- Please?

Rose- No

(She pushes him outside and slams the door in his face. Nat walks to the park and hears someone crying.)

Nat- Hello?
