Lineup: * Dave Finnegan - guitar & vocals * Feargal Heapes - guitar * Simon Farrell - bass * Martin Farrell - drums 1985-87




Formed by Dave Finnegan (ex Boneshakers), Shark Bait were highly rated
but the band split (acrimonious, apparently) when Finnegan landed a role in the Commitments film.
They left no recordings beside a few compilation appearances though they recorded demos in 1985-86 and 1987.
They appeared on RTE Television on both 'Visual Eyes' and 'TV Ga Ga' After completing the movie,
Finnegan hastily conviened a band to record some Shark Bait songs released under the name Scared Stiff.

It looks like Dublin's legendary Shark Bait will reform with the original line up for some gigs
and possible recordings in Sept./Oct. As of now the plans are only for Euro gigs (Ireland, U.K.)
