  • I enjoyed watching this video and seeing the breakdown of the model. I like the fact all of these videos have described the program then should us how to use the program and why we should use the program. I like the RTI approach way more than the old school they act up or don't keep up they must need to be in Special ed approach.

  • Tier Intervention Practices All tiers

Tier 1 - Gen Ed Practices 80% of students, Tier 2 and Beyond 20% of students

Tier 3/Final - SPED Practices 5% of students, Collaboration within the RTI

Process. During the RTI program you can read a change in data over time.

  • This was a really good video. It gave an in-depth explanation of RTI. It gave a well explained defintion of RTI and told why we should use it. It talked about the core principles and gave the common elements which are the tier model and the problem solving model. It explained these as well. It also gave IDEA regulations. It told us about core curriculum and how they use data to identify students needs. This would be a good video to show someone who wants to learn about RTI.

  • This video gave very good examples of how a school district can help RTI's succeed by working together. It also provided you with a very good break down of the various tiers in a RTI plan.

  • The video explains what RTI is and gives the core principles. It breaks down each tier with percentages of students needs being met. RTI is a problem-solving method for identifying a student’s strengths and weaknesses. It also mentions IDEA and how local districts are involved in RTI. It gives an example of a school improvement plan developed by a leadership team.
