This is always a nervous time. All the effort pays off when you hear it run for the first time. Building in my basement in the winter time is tough. I had to think about the smoke. So I made an exhaust fan to suck the smoke out. Worked OK, Engine sounds great. I can wait to take it out for a run.

  • Nice bike i just got a 73 ts 250 runs strong but very old lol its about to be a frame up resto just looking around where did you find parts as far as oem fenders seats stuff like that i wanted to stay away from the ebay stuff to make it as clean and new as pos

  • You can still get a lot of parts from the dealer. The dealer can look up any part on your bike and check new old stock. If the dealer cant get it, ebay is the next best way to go.

  • Thank You, Send me a link to your video, I would love to see it.

    Thanks Again

  • The red front shock boots are from a local auto parts store that carries Rancho shocks. The boots fit on OK but have to use wire ties on the botom.

  • Hey, Thanks for watching. No fancy stuff done here, just over sized piston and rings everthing is stock. I want to keep it all original if possible.

  • Assumeing the pet cock is the same on a 72 as it is on a 79, with the lever straight down would be on. Lever pointing forward is off, and pointing backward is the reserve.

  • that looks like my suzuki sp 370, well if mine was restored.

  • @denyboy15 is there an air leak in your exhaust? or around the seals on your carb. thats my guess
