@realworldbycj You do know that all of those companies auto sector, finanical sector came running to the government not the other way around. (the way you make it sound) I agree with what you mean but a private sector that thinks one of the private sector options is run to the tax payer while paying huge amounts to CEOs, Chairmen, board members, etc and loosing 8B / quarter is the problem. I guess you must believe Newt really was paid 65K / speach and not for his influence.

And when these companies can no longer make money off people's injuries and sickness it kicks them to the taxpayer programs. 6 states seen to have finally figured that out with CT being the latest

@WillHolyfield31 The problem is, we already pay for it with our taxes, but the administrations in power (both Dem and Rep) are using the money for other purposes. While Canada has perfected universal health care we are still debating over here whether to or how to do it. We are the only industrialized nation that does not have it, and it is not because we are broke. Americas issue is it is a cultural bubble, filled with ignorance of international politics. We can learn from other countries.
