@crazypoofs this will be my last reply as well. The canvas won't be a painting, but the act of handing it to me can be done with artistic intentions. And if I'm willing to pay for it, for exactly what it is, then this act is in no way a fraud.

@henry5252515 in the middle of an actual song during an actual concert that uses silence to build tension or emphasize the next note. silence is golden... but its not art... and its not music. how bout i hand you a blank canvas and call it a painting?

@crazypoofs also, the fact that you won't pay for it doesn't make it a con. Some would never pay to see ballet, others would never pay to see a black metal gig. Doesn't make them cons either. People are willing to pay for what they want to see.

@crazypoofs the orchestra and conductor are a part of the experience too, they help to make a point. I'll call bullshit as well if someone tries to sell me 4 minutes of recorded silence on CD, but a live experience like this with hundreds of other people is actually worth paying for. When was the last time you felt silence like that?
