@ReddShadoe71 he didn't necessarily take steroids. He could have just taken a substance that had illegal thing in it, or he didn't know. But even though there's less evidence, (or a lot less evidence) he still tested positive for something illegal. And with A-Rod, the substance wasn't named until he came forward.

@ReddShadoe71 people were pointing fingers at A-Rod WELL before any evidence was put forth, or an admission was made (but he showed them up by actually performing well in the 2009 playoffs). While there's more evidence for A-Rod (and he's kind of a douche so he gets criticism anyway), Ortiz still took an illegal substance (and by testing positive, that's proof right there) and that needs to be recognized. If he had said "I didn't know what I was taking was illegal, I'm sorry" I'd be ok with that
