If any mothers are pissed about this then they are extremists. Katy took her song which was not appropriate for children's and made it so that kids can sing along. Who cares that she wore a dress like that, I gaurantee any mother has a dress like that and has worn it in their child's early childhood. This was a very innocent video and there should be no concerns of it being in appropriate in any way.

The issue is children want to be Katy Perry, and part of that is dressing like her. So as a parent you're either fighting with your kid to dress appropriately for their age, or fighting off pedophiles.

What bothers me, was it REALLY necessary to show the crack of her tits? The skit is super cute, but be honest MEN, you like the video because you see boobs, not because you like Elmo or Sesame Street. Girls are ok with it because "just because my boobs are showing, doesn't mean you have to look".
