Your project sounds AWESOME! Thanks for your reply!

Dare Wright had such an important cultural impact on late 50s, early 60s America. Her characters and stories had so much natural elegance, warmth and charm, and that raised the bar in a way that is sorely needed today.
Hooray for Ms. Wright, and thank you for posting this.

Like many others here, I hope that all of her books will eventually be reprinted!

What a beautiful, elegant, talented woman. She is worthy of a book simply on personal style. Stunning.

What a lovely treat, THANK YOU! I hope they reprint the entire series. Is there a book of just her work outside of the Lonely Doll series? Photos she took of herself and others? I would love a book filled with paintings of her and her mom.

@Tera1971 I am working on a biography that will feature Dare and Edie's photos and paintings. In the meantime, you can check the Facebook pages "Dare Wright~A Tribute" and the "Edith Stevenson Wright Fan Page" for more of their photographs and paintings.

Such a delicate, talented and lovely woman. I had forgotten that her mother was a painter. I wonder if she painted the portraits in this clip?

@Maxiamaru Yes, the portraits of Dare were painted by her mother, Edith Stevenson Wright.
