An unoffical demo for Heavyocity Damage from Native Instruments.
Epic redefined: breathtaking cinematic percussion.
I will give a little review here to share my opinion on this product.

Pro's:
- Very high quality detailed sound. Every single sample and loop has been carefully composed.
- All the hits and tails are just as epic and beautiful as in the trailer.
- The percussion has up to 9 (!) round robins, 6 velocity layers and it plays back multiple voices/samples at once, so no machine gun effect here, but very natural drumlines.
- combining the mic positions works really great [close, stage, hall]

Cons:
- You need a fast computer with a large amount of RAM to run this. I have 3gb ram and I could manage but having more really makes it easier.
- All the loop patches and quite some percussion patches take up 250-500mb memory in Kontakt, this is 5-10 times as much as normal percussion patches usually take (possibly due to the high amount of round robins?)
- It takes time to learn to work with this plugin and to be able to use all the extensive functions it has.
- Although this library is 30 gb you don't get the wide choice of samples you normally would get with such a huge library. I think the size of this library is mainly in the quality of the samples.

All loops sound really professional and often better than most people are able to make themselves. Yet I found it harder to work with the loops then it is in Evolve Mutations. It's hard to combine the loops because all rhytms are so diverse. And although every loop is split up in 3 different elements I often wished they were split up in more elements, because now you often find a cool high percussion track that still has some kicks and other percussion in it that you might not like.

I haven't spend a lot of time trying out the kits and percussion yet - but I felt the kits are very similar to the kits in heavyocity's previous products. Not in a negative way though.
Soo far I was a bit dissapointed by the percussion - simply because it sounds so normal and so unlike heavyocity...

I heard quite some people cry about its price, while its just as expensive as True Strike 1 or 2 [and in my opinion better] and it's cheaper than stormdrum 2. Although I haven't tried that one yet so I can't say if its better or worse.
And for the cheapasses among us - buy the Evolve Mutations bundle - it's only $169 dollar for two products and although the sound may not be as detailed it's definetely as epic.

@CedricKristian Great sound, though I would like it more if the brass notes were more poweful, possibly by adding one or two extra instruments of the ones you used and adding octaves
