Learn More About SADS Conditions.

More Canadians under the age of 35 die from sudden cardiac arrest than from all childhood cancers combined.

It doesn't have to be that way. Know "The Warning Signs".

Together we can prevent sudden cardiac death in the young.

THE WARNING SIGNS

Fainting (syncope) or seizure during physical activity.

Fainting (syncope) or seizure resulting from emotional excitement, emotional distress or startle.

Family history of unexpected sudden death during physical activity or during a seizure, or any other unexplained sudden death of an otherwise healthy young person.

  • I was diagnosed with CPVT and its truly a miracle that I am alive

  • Excellent information, I will be able to accuratly inform my students of this condition and be confident that I have the correct information regaurding this condition. Takes a commplicated condition and simplifys the basic information on the signs and symptoms!

  • I learned something new - thanks!

  • Watching this video makes me feel sad for the lives lost to sads. As a survivor of sads I feel so fortunate to be here today. I was diagnosed with LQTS 4 years ago after suffering 29 minutes in cardiac arrest. I had the warning signs, I just didn’t know it at the time. I had dizzy spells and palpitations. I dismissed them as nothing to worry about. It’s important that everyone watch this video and know the warning signs. It could save your life or the ones you love.

  • Great work, video-makers!

  • Awesome job on this video. Hope that people will take the time to watch this and become aware of the signs. My daughter was diagnosed three years ago at the age of 2 after going into cardiac arrest. Early CPR and defibrillation saved her. She is now on a betablocker and has an ICD.

  • DAMN SADS YOU SCARY!

  • This is scary.
