Michael Franks performs "The Lady Wants to Know" at the Civic Center in Atlanta, GA, on March 21, 2008. Veronica Nunn, vocals; Charles Blenzig, piano; Karel Ruzicka, sax; Willard Dyson, drums; Jay Anderson, bass.
Wow!! I miss his music. I moved onto gospel music many years ago leaving a lot of jazz music behind. I happened to come across Michael Franks on youtube and decided to listen once again. That was several hours ago and I haven't stopped listening yet!!! His music is so relaxing and refreshing. It makes me feel as if I'm on vacation. Won't turn my back on Franks again.

Franks looks like a white shining angel sent from the heavens, and he is.

I hate, hate, hate, an acoustic bass for a concert this size. The bass player thinks he's cool. The sound disappears so quick after each note. Lame.
