Chapter 19 Part 1
"How much longer?" Frankie moaned.
"Keep quiet, Frankie, Daddy's on the road" Briana joked.
"Daddy, are we there yet?" Nick playfully kicked the front seat.
"Shut up and let me drive, kids, or I'll have to turn this car right around and head straight home" Kevin said with a firm Father-like face, and the whole crowd cracked up.
"Oh my god, I can see it! There's the port!" Olivia squealed and pointed ahead.
"Yup, there it is!" Kevin said, pulling into a parking lot.
They all got extremely excited -- not that they weren't hyper already -- and jumped out of their seats.
"Gabby, we're here," Nick said to Gabby, who had dozed off on his shoulder sometime during the ride.
Gabby rubbed her eyes and smiled up at Nick. Nick couldn't help it, and leaned in to kiss her.
"Yo love birds," Maddy called, pulling out the luggage from the bunk with Briana "You better get out if you want go on this trip!"
Gabby and Nick hopped out of the car, and helped to unload the car.
"Hey, where are your bags?" Olivia asked, noticing that the boys were luggage-less.
"Oh, we already sent them to the hotel," Joe said, grabbing Olivia by the waist.
The girls got their suitcases, and followed Kevin and the boys to a ship waiting by the harbor.
"Oh my gawd, that's so cute!" Briana looked up at the ship, gripping Kevin's hand.
The ship was not a HUGE luxury liner like the Titanic, but was big enough to contain all 8 of them along with their bags.
When they all boarded, they were greeted by a tall bearded man who was wearing a sailing hat.
"Hi, I'm Paul, and I'll be your steersman today," He took his hat off and smiled, revealing his pearl-white teeth.
"Hey Paul," Maddy extended her right hand "I love you accent"
Paul, who had a thick English accent, took the hand and shook it.
The other girls all took turns greeting him, as the boys high-fived him -- well, more like a low-five for Frankie, though.
Paul checked if everyone was on, then untied the rope which held the ship to the port, and started the engine.
Olivia took Joe's hand, and ran to the very front of the ship.
"Come on!"
Olivia rested her hands on the safety bars in front of her, and closed her eyes, feeling the wind in her hair.
"Don't you just love the sea?" She said, taking in a deep breath "I sometimes even imagine I'm a fish... Or even a mermaid," Olivia laughed, as if what she had just said was embarrassing.
"Yeah," Joe said, placing his hands on Olivia's waist.
"What are you doing?" Olivia giggled "It tickles"
"Titanic!" Joe said "I may not be able to turn you into a mermaid, but I can make you the heroine of the movie called my life"
"Nice pick up line," Olivia was still giggling from the tickle.
"Thank you. Now raise your arms" Joe said.
Olivia did as she was told, and spread her arms like wings. She kept her eyes closed, enjoying her moment. Joe traced her arms until his were completely spread out like hers. Olivia tried not to giggle from the tickle, but couldn't help it at let out a soft titter. They stayed that way for a while, their eyes closed, and feeling the wind in their hair.
Suddenly, they heard a singing voice from behind them.
"Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that the heart will go on..."
They whipped only their heads around, and saw Maddy and Frankie standing there.
Maddy was the one who was singing 'My Heart Will Go On', the theme of Titanic.
She had a playful smile on her face, and stood there with one hand in her pocket and the other on Frankie's shoulders.
Olivia flashed Maddy a playful smile, and then looked at Joe.
"This is officially 'our song'," She said with a smile.
"Yup," Joe retuned a warm smile.
Then, they once again closed their eyes, as their lips gently pressed together.
Maddy clasped her hands over Fankie's eyes.
"I think we better not disturb the love birds," She said.
Frankie giggled as they ran over to the other side of the ship.
