Gbengus99, I disagree with you, listen very well, Aisaidibaje are two different words, he only use musik to combine them. it means aisa/aisha and aidibaje.

Praising da lord almighty always. Halleluyah to u all God children we are all one in christ. Amen jah jeopha jire.

@gbengus99 "se mi l'ogo asaidibaje means for people not to turn God's perfect glory into bad thing or said bad things about the glory of God in his life. "Se mi l'ogo aidibaje means to have the Glory of God, or an untainted glory or an unspoiled glory as you said.

Very Well Done.....

A good knowledge of the Yoruba will reveal a flaw in his prayer. ...."Se Mi L'Ogo ASAIDIBAJE..." ASAIDIBAJE is a wrong word to use. It meams exactly oppposite of what he meant to say. It shld have been "... Se mi L'Ogo AIDIBAJE.." meaning "Make me a perfect glory or an untainted glory or an unspoilt glory."
Thanks, planetolusola, for finally putting this on youtube. I did mention it to you a while ago. The remarks @ gbengus99 are pertinent, but they take little away from the intent of a deeply prayerful song: Christ, Head of the Church, watch over me as I go; may life's adversities not prevail over me, by the Grace of Thy name. Fine, fine sentiments. The album had little or no promotion when it came out in 1996 or '97; no videos either. Sad, because Dele's Abiodun's finer pieces were on the album.

Deeply prayerful indeed. I can almost feel Dele Abiodun's sentiments as he penned this song. His legal battle to gain control of PMAN, his dwindling juju career. The lyrics 'Ma je k'aiye le bori mi lonin, Lola oruko re' definitely paid tribute to his station in life when the album was recorded. GREAT SONG, GREAT MAN, GREAT MESSAGE.
