Clips taken from road safety film 1974, narrated by Maureen Potter. I edited out the boring bits and strung together clips with Fiat cars. The original film was obviously sponsored by Fiat Ireland.

the footage up at the mo contains all the traffic scenes. I used to work in a Fiat main dealer in the 70`s hence my interest in Fiat`s from that era.

I again miss my 1973 Fiat 132S very much after seeing this clip. It is the only car I have ever owned that had real personality. It was so much fun to own.. ~fond memories~

Man we drove real bangers back then, most of them dissolved in the Irish weather.

Fiat sold alot of cars here. me and a mate when we were 14 bought old cars like escorts, dolomites, 2000TC, 127, 124, kadettes, avenger, viva and a Jag XJ6 and we drove them into each other in his Dad's field on a farm into each other.

Love the silver fiat that stops for the lollie pop man. Anyone know what year and model it is, I think it is a 130 or 132 and I'm guessin 1973? Would love one.

youtube sent me this video cars really show times past I rememer the 132 .one of the officials of my boxing club had one he was a sales rep with sweeny and forte high spec car for its day I also now work in scoill ainne and just finished painting the front entrance today incredible to see the school front in 1974 what happened the lamps on the gate posts great vid thanks

My first car to learn in was a 1977 fiat 127 1200 and it was a little gem I even called it jim after the numberplate! Other than that car the fiat range were an awful heap o shit! By the way Poor our maureen is brown bread now so she does not have to remember to look up and down before crossin the roads, She just worries about the maggots now!!!
