From ATR's Q1 2012 report: "ATR has set several key goals for 2012. It wants to break into new markets like Japan and gain a stronger foothold in North America." then recently (in another ATR publication): "ATR enters the Japanese market Tuesday 09 October 2012 Japan’s new carrier LINK will operate a fleet of 3 ATR 72-600s" Again, their commercial focus seems to be working.
