Set in a fictitious small town of Nately, Nova Scotia, Faith, Fraud & Minimum Wage tells the story of Casey, a dedicated atheist, whose life is forever changed when she fakes the image of Jesus Christ on the outside wall of the donut shop where she works. Yearning to escape from the hopeless, pious, economically depressed town which she calls home, Casey tries to "spin" the Jesus apparition towards her own fortune, fame and farewell. During the week leading up to Christmas Day, Casey becomes the ringmaster of a growing faith-circus ... a circus rapidly spinning out of control when her father begins to believe this is a special sign to him.
Inspired by well-known actual events, Faith Fraud & Minimum Wage is a contemporary comedy-drama feature about faith, forgiveness and customer service.
