One of WTBS publications aimed at young children. This book puts the "fear of god" in children.

  • I remember that book. Fun times. The Watchtower sure does look out for the psychological welfare of little kids, don't they?

It's both traumatizing and hypocritical that violent/disturbing images are depicted in JW children/adult literature. And yet, they're supposedly anti-violence! Go figure.

  • Um, yeah, I read books like that when I was little and the books really f*cked me up. I couldn't sleep at night because I thought God might kill me in my sleep. Go figure.

wow, i typed that first part before he showed them dying in their sleep from an angel, lol, proof that i could still remember this stuff in the back of my mind...

  • oh shoot! i aint no jw's but i used to read that book when i was a kid, damn! im too stupid!

  • ha i remember that book! I just remembered looking at the pictures and being scared.... until you got to the end... and oh! were going to live in paradise someday!

  • @BATMANMATRIXZERO1 notice there are a LOT of XJWs that do that. you think that they might be onto something, that maybe the watchtower is doing more bad than good? Or maybe they only do bad on people that still have independant thought and the guts to question what they have been told. I guess to yoiu they would be considered "worldly", but to the rest of the world they are referred to as people capable of their own thought. Screw your cult.

  • @808ghettoqun common sense and faith don't belong together, kiddo. faith is believing what you are told to believe, and common sense is discovering what you were told to believe is a bunch of BS. Life only happens when you shed the restraints of religious doctrine and realise that there is not a "god". Sorry to burst your bubble, but THATS the truth.
