I didn't mean that the age difference was a bad thing. I myself have always been attracted to older men. I don't know something about them being wise, more mature. It also seems like older men tend to take care of their women. What woman doesn't want to be taken care of. I have to laugh at my own comment, for I'm 3 months older than my husband. After 34 years of marriage I finally got my older man. Now we take care of each other. LOL

O MY! Gary Cooper was around 56 in this picture, Audrey was around 28. Gary was 28 years older than Audrey. I've noticed that in quite a few movies back then that the leading men were often quite older than the leading ladies.

Audrey was a beautiful dream in this world. She has never been equaled. Perfect ending to the movie. In top ten as best ending to a romantic film. She performed this scene perfectly.

One of the BEST romantic films ever made.
At that time the movie was criticized because of the age difference. But Audrey is so elegant as always, and Gary Cooper so handsome that it doesn't really matter.
