1 15in Alpnie Type R 548rms

My one alpine 15in type r only running 548rms through 2ohm in a 3.6 cubic foot ported box tuned to 35 hz in my tahoe

honestly. this to everybody about subs. it dont matter how loud it is. its the cancellation u dont wana get from it. if it aint no cancellation its even louder n it sound better. u guna have weak spots if u got cancellation. ported boxes get a lot of cancellation. sealed boxes dont get none when u put it to a wall. u put a port to a wall and see if u can hear it.

@liindo215badlands i've been through both sealed and ported boxes and for my current setup, this is the best box i've used. you cant help much with cancellation in cars due to the small area, all you can do is dynomat or other deadeners. so im not sure where your going with this but okay?

@Phil02tahoe yo when u take a sealed and tweak it to sound like a ported because people dont really do this. they just get a sealed and leave it the way it is cus its perfectly different . the sealed in front of a wall will have less cancellation and sound will amplify. a whole lot. a port just shoots aire but u cant cover it. if u put the port to a wall u cant hear it can u? if u put a sealed box pointing to the wall u will definitly hear it. theres no doubt.
