@raith2006 theres people who just need more time to get used to it than others. I've been doing it since i was a kid, and kids dont tend to have flexibility problems. Also, most japanese people are used to this. This is discomfortable usually to grown people who have never done this. Its not only about technique, tho it can help.

i watched several japanese movie in which junior always do seiza but boss sit comfortably(or sometimes seiza)

i watched japanese movie historical backgroud of which was around 1600,it seems japanese at that time had to seiza all the time,didnt they feel uncomfortable?

or if u r used to do it from little boy,then u feel it comfortable?
