  • Probably a mis-hit.

  • Ok i think i figured it out to be the end of this video. Correct? Thanks for posting this, I appreciate i t. I am a new fan of Brahms due to this paper and presentation I am writing. :)

  • can someone please tell me where the first movement ends. I can't hear it. Is it at the end of this video? I am presenting this piece in a class and of course i didn't think to maybe buy the cd. DUH

  • ahh..i see.. the 68th published work..

  • oh..haha..is that so.. i just confuse.. thanks..

  • Since we cannot upload a complete symphony in one video, I have separated into 6 parts. It has NO relation to the piece or Brahms at all - it is just a marking to avoid confusion.

  • 2/6 means that six segments of the four movement sof this symphony have been uploaded; this is the second part of six ( 2/6 ). This is Brahm's 68th published work; it might not be his 68th composition.

  • oh..opus, i see.. so this is his 68th work.. thanks.. and, whats about the (2/6) ?

  • i love this! energetic!

  • "Opus" is a latin word meaning "work;" this is the 68th published work of Johannes Brahms.

  • can you explain to me, what is the op.68? is it opening 68? and this is the part (2/6). is that mean that this piece is a very long piece? or, is it different to each part?

  • yes

  • The best Brahms 1st recorded performance I ever heard, and I've heard most of them. This piece and Klemperer are a match made in heaven.

  • Excellent
