The American interpretation what is "acceptable" in a relationship is as such that two women may be much more accepted in a same sex relationship than men will. All I said was that there are places in the world ((outside your 300 million population and its boundaries)) that exercise behavior and views different from your own. Clear enough?

It isn't uncommong to witness a man kissing a close male friend of his on the cheek as a confident, non sexual expression of adoration. The subject of "bromance" itself carries too much discussion for 2 youtube posts.

Step off the western continent and dip somewhere in south-western france. The concept of non-sexual love between two males is commonly recognized as a brotherly friendship in which all topics and activities are trusting and honest. Walking on the beach, long personal conversation, one on one social interaction...Its a shame really that the American culture has, for the greater part, shrouded the line between love and sex.
