  • Looks like it makes MOLLE mounting more flexible by deleting the space between rows meaning you don't have to move in 2" increments vertically.

Certainly an interesting piece of kit

  • @choopdewoot

nylon is probably 500D invista nylon. the plastic parts are acetyl like the buckles from ITW and National molding is made of.

  • @azis1100

not that surprising as the ciras used to be about 400

  • @azis1100

thats for the Siege-R model (2.59 lbs) with the largest amount of mounting space. Siege-R is a massive carrier. You can get the much smaller Strandhogg for $400. SKD PIGs cost $330 now

  • Thumbs as always but thought First Spear's presentation was a bit abbreviated. I would have liked to see more features, attachments actually attached, materials tugged on, a look at the back of the carrier and perhaps even worn by a real person. I suppose we'll be seeing more of this product if the 40% reduction in the weight of a 1-2lb carrier proves to be a substantial enough advantage to warrant the cost in the eyes of the average "tactical" consumer.

  • @choopdewoot same as itw nexus buckles

  • 40% decrease in weight ... wow. thats worth the price tag

  • Looks like MOLLE tech is progressing nicely.

  • just a couple of points, if anyone's interested. no BS, no gimmicks, this design is strong as shit. my Team and i tried our hardest to tear the prototype months ago to no avail. it's expensive because it's handmade in the US and you get what you pay for. you will see guys that they write books and make movies about using this stuff very soon. Congrats Ronnie, Scott and everybody at First Spear!
