Yes Allegra Bless i'm Glad your MOM told you everything at a early age..I know a person that was close to me that I HAVE NATURAL KIDS WITH, BUT HER family member needed her donation..I was very objective and still is because they do not tell the kids the TRUTH of origin for that child..My kids call that child their cousin which I know they are his brother and sister,that is why I cannot comprehend why they do not explain to my kids. The TRUTH MUST BE TOLD!! as my kids must know.It is a blessing

I am a college student, and I am contemplating being an egg donor. I was previously married and didnt have children with my husband since we divorced too soon, though I wish I could have had children with him. Maybe if I donate my eggs, I will be able to have children through someone else who can raise them better then I ever could. I highly doubt I will have children in the future since finding a good husband seems difficult.

@richefilon the egg is from a white person caring the Caucasian genes, and depending the males ethnicity. the child should end up being mixed because of the donor, so basically the fertilized egg is put into the non biological mother, all she is doing is caring the child.
