According to the maker's web site, the steam temperature in the oven is about 170C or 340F. That is a little lower than the temperature of the oil to make daunts or other fried foods, but still much hotter than ordinal steamer. Even though it uses steam to cook, the dishes aren't steamy or wet, and of course, not oily at all.
