Henry Ford visiting with people in various historic buildings in Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan. Includes passing by Rose Cottage (now known as Cotswold Cottage) and visiting Cotswold Forge to watch blacksmiths at work; discussing a circle of stones on the grounds with Edward Cutler, chief architect of the village; and examining a rare book with two young women, probably Edison Institute students. Also, Henry Ford and Robert Boyer in the Dearborn Engineering Laboratory with a wooden pattern of a machine (probably related to soybean research -- Boyer spent many years working on soybean related products for Henry Ford).

  • I love that last sequence, Ol' Henry tellin' the youngsters in engineering how it's done! :)

  • How wonderful to see these 1930's era "company movies" showing Henry Ford. He had the stature of Abe Lincoln and the imagination of Walt Disney. What great men ! Where are the great men today?
