I dont get it every time i try to ollie anything but a carb i go in to kickflip and almost land no matter how i try it diffrent or as many times as i do i always get a kickflip

when i was a kid if i ollied anything bigger than a 5 set, my balls would hurt on the landing. so i never got to good at gaps or stairs. does this happen to anyone else? i can brace an impact really well with my feet and knees etc. but, something about the landing always made me feel like i got kicked in the balls...
