    Shown as part of the horror double Bill season on BBC 2, shown on Saturday the 4th July 1981, I have never forgotten the Zombies big bulging eyes! The film was followed by '' Zoltan, hound of Dracula.

    You might be thinking of WHITE ZOMBIE from 1932, or PLAGUE OF THE ZOMBIES from 1966, both similar "voodoo" stories, but this is the only film with this exact title. There were other voodoo zombie flicks too, of course: Before NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD in 68, that was what "zombie" meant.
