This is my boss/neighbor/cousin in law Bryan. This was from when he was building his house across the field. I worked over there, then most days, after lunch we'd go out and romp the pile :) pretty much the best job ever. We had his 91 jeep on there, the 87 nissan 4x4 pickup (did the absolute best out of any vehicle) the 75 plymouth trailduster, the 80 mercedes 300d, drews 87 2wd toyota pickup, the 64 dodge dart 170, the 1963 bolens 800, and probably more. Just a lot of fun. The wrangler doesn't do so good on all the angles because its open end all around, and has stiffer leaf springs on it for plowing. The nissan had completely wornout soft suspension, so it was perfect.

  • I wanna watch the Nissan do this again, DO IT SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE JEEP, hahahahaha

  • @JUDGExNOCTURNAL

:) Maybe i'll do that some day. I have the jeep tape, but i can't find the nissan tape, but if i do, maybe i'll make a comparison vid. It'll be kinda mean to the jeep man, Its just way out of its league. I don't want to misrepresent wrangles, they've got a cool thing going.

  • Open diffs suck sometimes don't they? :D

  • @TheMilitarynut

:) yeah, they don't normally help out at all.

But the thing that would help the most, would be completely worn out, incredibly soft suspension. So it would just conform to all the twists and turns. This had heavier leaf springs put on it a few years before this, for plowing, and they just kept the wheels from flexing down to get traction.

We had an open diff nissan with totally worn out suspension, and it just crawled all over the pile.

my 46 willys probably would too.

  • Put a bigger engine in it! Lol

  • @mark16443

that is definitely the least of that things problem.

  • Yeah the leafs on the jeep are way stiff you can see it doesnt articulate at all. Kinda funny seeing that this is what they were made to do. Poor thing, hahaha.

  • i think your stuck

  • @tommartyn True. I've only seen 1 that's a few years younger than all the ones you have, and that one had the bed completely rotted. The guy wanted a grand for it, my dad wouldn't even let me look at it lol

I don't think i explained toyotas well enough. and i might have been off on some of the numbers, but if you buy a 2wd 22r powered toyota pickup, the savings on gas will make a huge difference in your life, compared to how much you would be spending in a full sized amercan truck. Honestly, its not a little difference. Its way more then noticeable, its helpfull, and you appriciate i as well. Unfortunately they are hard to find though :( especially without bad rust.
