*spoiler* The ending with the shower used to be so stupid to me but I just watched this movie again and realized that all they can do is think about each other so they got back together. However when they got in the shower, they were reliving the past they loved so much and then realized that it is only the past they love, and now that they are finally together, they don't feel the same. But no matter what they will continue to think of the love they had back then.

Silver Linings was really a break through performance for her. I have noticed she is just as comfortable playing a young adult as a teenager. Very interesting how she can go back and forth. In my opinion, Bradley Cooper was much better in Silver Linings. Was just an amazing year for the men and their performances. I thought Naomi Watts was just as deserving for the Oscar as JL for her performance in The Impossible. But JL and her body of work this year was amazing.

I personally think she is a fantastic actress, but that's how I see it, you don't have to agree. But I think it's that combined with her really wonderful personality. If you ever see her in interviews, she seems like a really down-to-earth, hilarious, talented person. Obviously I don't know her, but that's how she comes off and I think people really connect to the person she seems to be. I think she's great :)

so encouraging to hear about this! Ive been in one from two years.. UK to the States...its energy zapping, and at times miserable lonely heartbreaking and sad....but the positives outweigh the shit every time. and I hope as we've clung on this far we can make it through to our happy ending

I actually have been in a long-distance relationship for 5 years. I'm from Germany and my fiance is from the states. We had similar problems but we've made it through all of them and I'm very happy to say that we are getting married in a week and we are finally in one place together! However I always loved watching this movie cause it made me feel less alone and I do understand that it drains the love out of some people. We were just very lucky to safe that feeling!
