Kaoru Sakurazuka is a normal Japanese youth, not unique in the least except for his oddly feminine facial features, which he hates. His name doesn't thrill him either -- Kaoru is a common name for both girls and boys. He tries to make up for looking like a girl by becoming extra strong, and no one in the school can beat him in a fight. He enjoys his time living in a cheap apartment with his friends Touya and Renji.

Feeling under the weather one day, Kaoru made a trip to the school doctor, who's famous for inventing new concoctions in the name of science, and accidentally drinks a vial marked "experimental medicine." Bad move, Kaoru-kun -- the next day, Kaoru is shocked to wake up to find that he's been transformed into a girl! While he desperately tries to find a way to return to normal, he's forced to spend his days in his new female body, which of course leads to many bizarre adventures.

Kaoru is surprised at the changes in his environment now that he's a girl. Everywhere he goes, he's the center of attention, and it seems that everyone is taking an interest in him now, actually thinking him "pretty," although he can't believe it's true. What's more, his new female body is fully functional, allowing him to get some great exploring in. What strange adventures are in store for Kaoru in his new body?

@starcrafter13terran It says that you like futanari, duh. XD Actually, isn't it sprung on you (I've never played the game and haven't read that much about it) by the best friend/initial crush? If you choose the options based on romance, you'd wind up with that, right? (I'm undecided if my question is rhetorical because I may not want spoilers for a game I'll EVENTUALLY get). Anyway, fetishes are actually more divided than what many people think, so it really doesn't say much about the person.

@Gagh76 One more thing: In the vein of yaoi & yuri, in the past, homosexual relationships (at least between samurai) were thought to be strictly romantic. Comparing that to heterosexual marriages which, in that time, were mostly for practicality (business, politics, etc.), a relationship between two people of the same gender was thought to be more pure-hearted (I guess they didn't think a man could lust for a man). They have a lot of shape-shifting yokai, so that may also play a role.

It's in a lot of entertainment media, but it's also not well accepted for actual people to partake in. It's been in their entertainment media for hundreds of years in the form of crossdressing for performances due to odd rules about who could perform as what and where. However, due to their rigid social norms, people doing things like that in public is semi-taboo. Counter-culture in private is acceptable.
