the replacement song just sounds like a sad replica of the shuggie otis song. I'm pretty sure it's not a real song, it was just written for the american version.

Sorry I wish I could help. I remember reading somewhere that some of the replacement songs were written specifically for skins... so this might have been one of those.

It would be cool if you or somebody else could post other Cassie music scenes from this episode (like her running from Sid at the end or her waking up or the "Move Bitch" in the cab).

Because many people in the states are just now discovering Skins on DVD, and they don't realize how awful the replacement music is.

I would love to do that, but youtube and channel 4 are already on my back about this video (they didn't delete it, thank god, but they disabled embedding).

I actually live in the states and caught this episode on BBC america once, and I couldn't even finish watching it because I couldn't deal with the replacement music. It definitely sucks :/

The music makes the scenes totally different. In the other version, Cassie seems more dreamy than here because the music is so trippy.This one is a bit more rugged while the words obviously narrate what's going on. They both work, I guess it just depends on your mood or opinion.
