Some tables are meant for dining. Some are great coffee cup mounts. Some are designed for card players. But this table - this short, wide, homemade work of art - has no solitary purpose.

It was intended to be the perfect place for the kids to build their holiday train set. As we built it we realized it could be a coffee table, or a great addition to any kids playspace for coloring. It's a train/coffee/kids table, effectively shortened to our "slash table".

Jeff Devlin of A&E's TV show Drill Team build this table live at the Craftsman Experience. For project plans to this and other projects, visit http://craftsman.com/projects
