Going home
on the 84X
My working day over
and I'm quite relaxed
There is Bray Golf Course
isn't it nice
And even the knacker's yard's
like Paradise
Up Windgates Hill
the bushes whizz by
The sky is pure turquoise
the weather is fine
and though the bus struggles
en route to the top
the engine keeps growling
the wheels never stop
if I was impressed
going over the crest
the view going downhill
is simply the best
the sky and the fields
open up before me
then the dazzling blue
of the shimmering sea
and look! There is Greystones
that little town, where
my heart and my home are
and I'm almost there
