Video Log # 6 Exciting 2nd Ride For Squirt!

Excitement on the second ride... Had a feeling Squirt would try going UP. Hopefully that door is CLOSED now and he won't need to try it again.
Looking to get a little more freedom of movement from this colt. He's pretty head strong and a little pushy, but we'll get there. :)

@starsechos Hey Stars! Haven't had the chance to get much more done with him & sure want to. There's a little MORE to it than just being brave enuf to get on there. LOL

He was so CUTE as a FOAL he got a little spoiled and now thinks we're the 'ugly short' members of his herd, he's a real tall one. LOL

He processes things slower than most, there's a story... no room for it here. But he needs to learn to be a HORSE for sure. It'll come with a little more time and work.

FORWARD is the plan. For Squirt's entire life we'll ask for 'forward' so he's got to find it. He's an interesting personality to work with. They're all a little different.

You notice how MAD he got? Pinned those ears and got just plain PO'd. He's a funny one like that all right.

He's doing better and 'forward' is the game plan. Still gets that 'tude but he'll get over it.

Yeah those are the toughest to get through to it seems. They don't seem to settle into the idea of working well and those seem to be the type that will always test you no matter how much you put into them. Very good video!

You should send Endo a message about that one Aeron. Think he might be game to try some 'other' tools with this new group of starters coming in this year.

Can tell you tho, shipping to Japan is pretty expensive. :~)
