Probably one of the best renditions of this aria extant (along with Lucia Popp's 1982 studio recording): Chilcott's voice is incisive yet lyrical; it sails over the impervious tessitura astonishingly, with a prodigious incredible low register (cfr. "tempesta") and a rock solid top. Extraordinary.

IN MEMORIAM. I miss her so much. What a greatful Fiordiligi.

oh I love when she sings 'tempesta', oh it's a fabulous performance!

This is really really good! It is hard to believe she is so young. The voice is very mature. I love how she moves the text on the breath. Fabulous!!!

Miss Chilcott was also a shatteringly magnificent Natasha Rostova in the ENO's production of Prokofiev's"War and Peace" with Keenlyside. It is heavy and great sorrow she lost her battle with cancer. May her soul rest in God's Peace and her voice ring through heaven.
