  • Totally This Gentalmen was Jimmy Pages Teacher.Cool thank you for posting this Mr.Mcdowell is a Genius of his time and still today , this music is better than the Bieber shit we hear today brittny Spears give me a break - He also was the teacher to Mick Taylor-and Brian Jones.

  • One of my most favourite McDowells songs, thanks for posting.

I just started playing it and Open G works for me. Only thing that confuses me is that I see him play on E string with his thumb on the IV chord (eventhough I cant really hear it) and it doesnt sound right when I play it. Guess anyone?

  • @davidkahan it came from mississippi fred mcdwell... where do you think it came from? autotune?

he's honed his sound over 40 years and played cause he enjoyed it - it's an insult to compare him to a bunch of british druggies

  • People forget there was a blues invasion of the Uk by several blues masters in

the late fifties / 61 / 62 and who inspired so many British players they were however

forgotten and had very little recognition in the US , most died poor & never saw any fruit from there talents

  • beautiful guitar, what make is it?very interesting guitar style..

  • It's funny ( and cool ) to see younger folks discovering the great blues masters. They were the founders of rock and roll. I wonder how many kids today know that the British Invasion of rock was due to the fact that the young brits didn't give a crap that these guys were black and they copied and sped up the music. The blues was shunned by whites in the south for a very long time. The old great blues masters have never really gotten full credit. Both jazz and rock evolved out of the blues.

  • Wicked.

  • @rorygg1 lol (:o)
