Mike Castillo CRASH on Mt. Palomar Grade. Don't worry he was o.k.!

Mike Castillo riding down Palomar Mountain grade, video recording with his tank camera mount has a slight mishap. (see @1:50) He was shook up but he was o.k. He made it home in good shape. Good thing he was wearing his body armor! (where do i get one of those camera mounts?)
He just barley evaded getting a ticket by less than one minute for whatever the CHP might have come up with for the violation, or at least a big hassle... notice the two CHP cars (see @ 2:45), coming thru just seconds after he gets back up and moving.

I don't know why that particular spot is so frequently crashed. ___

More of a dog leg to set up for the next corner, rather than a corner , itself.

Helped a guy out with a Pepsol CBR in that same spot, last Sunday.

Parked my bike around the next corner, in the straight, and walked back to Pepsol.

Lots of plastic fragments in the corner just past the crash in video.

A Harley face planted in that same spot a few months ago.

The Tight Side is an awesome run , but not to be taken lightly.

Your the man, crash get right up and take back off up the hill without even looking over the bike. Had a friend crash on palomar and do the same thing. Glad your ok!

What would the CHP have cited? Not speed if they didn't see it. Parked in the roadway? I wasn't aware of a violation for crashing per se.
