  • Thank you very, very much for this, EssereVerbo. The words are so beautiful and moving.

  • The music sounds so romantic and her voice is superb. I would like to understand the words. Could anyone, please, provide me with the English translation? I would be very grateful.

  • Dear friend: Can you reupload these songs at better sound please??? Thanks! Gustavo.

  • o voce nemaipomenita pacat ca rominia nu a stiut sa aprecieze asa ceva mare PACAT

  • @corellithebest- she is singing a song inspired by a romantic poem written by Romania's national poet, Mihai Eminescu. The poem is called "Si daca ramuri bat in geamuri" and the first part can be translate like this: "And if branches are knocking in my windows, And the poplar trees are trembling, It is to bring your image back in to my mind, And to feel you close to me again". I will send you a private message with the poem and the translation .

  • Such a gorgeous, fluid, gently caressing sound! She makes it sound effortless... Very touching.

Thank you for this posting. Simply beautiful!

  • @Kievest Dear friend, your words are always so genuine, unique and worm.

  • When listening to Madame Cernei, I sometimes forget to breathe! That warm, luscious voice is so uniquely beautiful, compelling and rich! Most important is that she sings with her whole heart and soul and takes one away into whatever realm she decides to inhabit! The poetry of the song is echoed in her spirit! Thank you for uploading, to essereVerbo for the touching translation and to corelli- thebest for sharing so graciously!
  • And If... by Mihai Eminescu "And if the branches tap my pane And the poplars whisper nightly, It is to make me dream again I hold you to me tightly. And if the stars shine on the pond And light its sombre shoal, It is to quench my mind's despond And flood with peace my soul. And if the clouds their tresses part And does the moon outblaze, It is but to remind my heart I long for you always. (Translated by Corneliu M. Popescu)
