Hachiko Before the Japan/Paraguay Match! Go Nippon!

The locals go crazy here in Tokyo just before the Japan vs. Paraguay World Cup match begins. Filmed on my phone at Hachiko Crossing the famed street corner from the film "Lost in Translation." Honestly... I rarely see the locals this excited. Very cool. I hope they win.

Japan should walk away from the field feeling like champs. They've done better than any previous Japanese world cup team. They deserved the win, but lost on penalty kicks. Tense to the end it was a fantastic showing for Nippon. Congrats to the players for a solid showing. I predict a solid future for the team. Only 10 years ago Asian football teams were a joke. Not anymore! Omedetou!

This is the match that I was a very confused person on because I absolutely love Japan, but my dad is from Paraguay. So I sat there with my friend watching it, but the whole time she was looking at me like I was crazy because I was cheering and scolding both teams. lol
